This MP3 demo file features some sounds of the new SoundSet 'HQRB1'.

This song consists of only one pattern.

With Bassdrum / Hihat and Bass.

The SoundSet consists of 8 DrumKits.
DrumKit 1 of the new SoundSet is used in this song.
BassKit 2 is used in this song.

All is done with a PS02 and a guitar.



How did I make it (detailed):

Drums:
The drums are converted from a MidiFile (85 bpm, 2 measures long).
Because of the high resolution the 24 divisions of the PS02 are not enough.
I converted the Midifile to 48 divisions and converted the result to 4 measures with 24 divisions. (done with PS02PatternEditor 2.1-Beta).
The result has half the speed but double resolution. To get the original speed I selected 170 bpm on the PS02. 

Bass:
Programmed by me. 

Rhythm guitar:
Recorded stereo to PS02 channel 2/3.
I used my Stratocaster with the 3. pickup (JeffBeckHumbucker).
The 'Amp' is the PS02. Sound 'C Pit1'. (Clear Pitch 1)
Channel 2 panned to the left, channel 3 to the right.

Lead guitar:
Recorded mono to PS02 channel 1.
I used my Stratocaster with the 3. pickup (JeffBeckHumbucker).
The 'Amp' is the PS02. Sound 'R Fen2'. (Crunched Fender)

I did not use any PS02 mixdown effects.

The output of the PS02 was connected to my PC soundcard (Terratec MT88), recorded and converted to MP3 with Steinberg Cubase SX.

No audio modifications were done.



You'll need large loudspeakers to hear all the details.
It sounds not so nice with small PC speakers.
